Well-maintained laboratories equipped with all amenities are the foundation of an educational institution. Especially for Technical courses like B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E., labs with relevant apparatuses form the heart of their departments. SRCEM is well-known for its laboratory set up that comprises of large floor area, adequate sitting, proper ventilation and air-conditioning, large power backup and adequate sitting arrangement. The count of apparatuses is maintained such that every student gets ample of research and practicing time without any compromises. Additional apparatuses are stocked for immediate replacement as and when required.
The computer labs house latest hardware configurations in computer systems that are connected through LAN and are backed up with large power banks. Wi-Fi connectivity is extended for laptops and smartphones so that students can learn at any location within the campus. High-speed continuous Internet connectivity is provisioned to extend the scope of study material that student can get for better and self-learning. Latest software are installed in labs to ensure the availability of tools required to stay updated with latest trends. Projectors are arranged for live demonstration of concept implementations during lab sessions.
Civil Engineering labs are equipped with all the apparatuses required to provide in depth understanding of structure design, drawing, surveying and project work. Students are grouped in teams wherein every member is assigned role on rotational basis. Thus each student gets adequate exposure to the usage of tools and apparatuses in a real scenario. Teachers demonstrate the usage of these tools followed by hands-on practice sessions by the students.
Electronics and Communication Engineering labs house the circuit designing, manufacturing and programming kits, CRO, Signal analysis devices, Voltage Analysers and communication tools. Students are given dedicated time to work on each of the available kits and record the outcomes that are analysed by laboratory supervisors and teachers. Improvement and rectification suggestions are shared with the students for better results.
Mechanical and Automobile Engineering Labs are equipped with real vehicles, manufacturing and grinding tools, shaper kits, furnaces and many other machineries on which students gets hands-on learning and practicing experience. Deep understanding of minute components of machinery is provided along with demonstrations. Thus, the students are facilitated with live learning.
Management Labs are also equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems so that future managers can learn the applications of computers and technologies for the betterment of their employers.
Thus, this Top Engineering College in Palwal has made huge investments on setting up ultra-modern laboratories equipped with every necessary tool, apparatus and facility to pave the path of success for students.
Medical Facility
The Medical facilities here at Shri Ram College of Engineering & Management, Palwal is well equipped. It has separate inpatient facility for male and female students. The health centre provides quality health care in a comfortable and confidential environment. The centre has 3 beds and adequately supplied medicine cabinet.
The health centre is manned by a visiting medical officer and a healthcare assistant to provide excellent medical care to all the students, staff and faculty at no cost. The Medical Officer manages the various aspects of the facility. They provide quality health care to everyone, evaluates the quality of services, maintains the overall efficiency of the centre and decides the procedures to be followed in case of emergency. Also, vaccinations and yearly checks ups are done at this facility.
Red Cross Unit
The unit keeps close lesen with Indian re cross society and jointly organize various programme, workshops and blood donation camps.
